Who operates this site

Supplements Doctor is operated by BuzzTransit LLC. Use the Contact & corrections page for privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or deletion requests. Please do not send medical records, diagnoses, medication lists, or other private health information.

Newsletter signup

If you request The SD Edit, we store your email address, the consent wording and date, signup and confirmation status, protected confirmation and removal tokens, and email sending records. When email delivery is active, we use Resend to send your confirmation and welcome messages and process delivery failures or complaints. Resend receives your email address and the message content to provide this service. We do not add tracking pixels or tracked links to these messages.

The form tells you whether email delivery is active. While delivery is not active, it saves a launch-list request and does not send email. When delivery is active, you must confirm your address using the button reached from your confirmation email before receiving a welcome note or newsletter. Existing launch-list addresses are not automatically emailed; the person must submit a fresh request. Your signup is for Supplements Doctor only.

Each email includes an unsubscribe link. A new launch-list signup also receives a removal link on screen. You can contact us if you lose your link. We retain a limited suppression record for unsubscribed, bounced, or complained-about addresses so they are not accidentally emailed again; removing a never-emailed launch-list signup deletes that signup. We do not sell newsletter email addresses or give them to supplement retailers for their own marketing.

Contact messages

If you use the contact form, we store your email, optional name, message, and submission time so SD can review and respond to the inquiry. The form is for editorial, business, and privacy matters. It is not a medical consultation channel.

We retain signup and contact information while it is needed for the purpose you requested, recordkeeping, or applicable obligations. You can ask us to delete it; we may need to verify the request and retain information where required.

Hosting, security, and technical data

The hosting platform processes technical information needed to serve and protect the website and may provide aggregate traffic analytics. This can include network, device, browser, and request information under the provider’s own practices.

Our forms use a temporary hashed network identifier to limit repeated submissions. The form system does not store your raw IP address in its submission tables. These anti-abuse records expire and are cleaned up as further submissions are processed. Authorized administrators can access stored submissions; they are not displayed publicly.

Website visitor analytics

We use Metricool to measure visits, page views, and referral sources on our public website, independently of Google Analytics. The tracker sends page URLs, referring URLs, and screen information to Metricool; network requests also disclose your IP address and browser information to the service. We use the resulting reports to understand readership and improve the site.

This tracker does not use cookies or browser local storage in our current implementation. It does not read form fields or calculator entries, and we do not send newsletter addresses or contact-message contents to Metricool. URLs can contain information supplied in links, so please do not put private information in a page URL. Metricool processes this technical data under its own privacy practices.

Tools, cookies, and external links

The cost calculator runs in your browser; SD does not save or receive the values you enter. This version does not add advertising pixels or third-party marketing cookies. The hosting platform may use necessary access or security cookies.

Manufacturer and other source links take you to separate websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may use cookies or tracking. Future affiliate links may include referral tracking; any such links will be disclosed. We will update this policy before materially changing how SD collects or uses data.

Your choices

You may choose not to submit a form and still read the guides and use the tools. Ask us about your information through the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.

The site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly seek information from children. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
